So how many of you have ever felt like you wanted to be in someone else’s shoes?? I’m sure there are lots of ME’s to that question as I am on of those me’s! Well on this weeks blog I want to speak about ORIGINALITY. EDGINESS. SPUNK! I KNOW THAT ON OUR Fashion blogs we speak of what is NEW and HOT out right now, but what I want to discuss is about your style that makes you "YOU" and is still HOT?! What does it mean "what makes you, YOU"? What is it about your style that is unique or different that you would not see on someone else?

This past week I went out and did some homework downtown. I wanted to check out what local San Diegans were wearing (keep in mind it was a tough night for me to do some field work due to mother nature, lol!). Despite the rain there was some ravishing outfits being worn that night… and not so ravishing either. So here is MY opinions on what I saw and thought which is based off of one night.

I went out of town for the night with some friends and we decided to go to San Diego's Stingaree; which is one of the more fashionable dining, dancing and socializing night clubs. I was caught by suprise as I was not impressed with all the fashion of the night. Don’t get me wrong, very cute outfits and dresses that I seen but nothing that popped out at me. I was looking for that "I have to know where you went shopping so I can go and get that" conversation. I saw a lot of little black dresses, same style of jeans with a cute top, but nothing GREAT! So through out the night I thought it was going to be a lost cause for the night till I saw this girl that got my attention. It was different, simple, but original! I was able to speak with her and took a shot of this hot outfit. In my opinion I thought she looked hot and sexy. She didn’t need to plaster on so much accessories, layers to be sexy. Her style's statement was "Just be yourself and just be you in your wardrobe" Add a little of who you are in your clothing. Just don’t over do it! LOL

To be a little personal with you, I would like to show you what I wear that brings out my style in my outfits. Whenever I go out with my friends dancing, I wear a certain accessory that is "me". Depending on where I go and if its appropriate with my outfit I like to wear a belt. Not just any old belt but a belly dancing belt that my girl introduced me to about 5 years ago. People give me looks (mainly girls lol), and guys think its hot, but I do NOT wear it for show! I LOVE to dance and when I wear this belt it helps with the movement when dancing with the beat of the music. So if you ever hear bells like its Christmas, its probably me just getting my workin’ the dance floor. LOL

Check out the shots of these hot celebrities with a bit of a sexy twist of their own style in their outfits:

What is it that you wear that brings out your personality? Just remember to be yourself. Whether it is in style now or adding your own personal twist to it. Till next next blog! *besos*

My name is Andrea Jimenez, but is known to everyone as Drea. I’m a single mother of one, Christian, and living in North County of San Diego. I didn’t always live here in this great city though. I moved out here when I was only 13 years old about to start high school with my mom, brother, and two sisters.
